Mr Olumide Adeosun

Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer

Mr. Olumide Adeosun is a seasoned thought leader and accomplished executive with over 25 years of experience in the finance and energy sectors.

He began his career as a Business Analyst in the PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) UK graduate program before joining BP Plc, where he advanced through senior roles in upstream finance, business support, and commercial operations. Within BP Oil International’s Deals Origination Business Unit, he contributed to BP’s Africa trading strategy, leading to the creation of BP Global West Africa Ltd in Nigeria. As Vice President, Commercial Development, he drove initiatives that delivered 300% revenue growth in three years.

In 2015, Mr. Adeosun joined PwC West Africa Energy Advisory in Lagos, leading transactions that secured over $1.5 billion in infrastructure and energy investments, including the acquisition of a leading multinational midstream and downstream company. He became CEO of Ardova Plc in 2019, where he executed a five-year transformation strategy emphasizing LPG and renewable energy and successfully led the bid for a majority stake in OML 25’s Olua Field. He later served as Group Executive Director at Rainoil Limited and as Non-Executive Director of Eterna Industries Limited before his appointment as MD/CEO of Eterna Plc.

A former Chairman of the Major Energy Marketers Association of Nigeria (MEMAN), Mr. Adeosun is an advocate for clean energy and serves on advisory boards for renewable energy ventures. Recognized with the Business Day Downstream CEO of the Year Award (2021), he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Directors, a Member of the Financial Reporting Council of Nigeria, and of the Society for Petroleum Engineers. He holds a B.Arch. from Woodbury University, California, and an MSc in Mathematics from Royal Holloway, University of London.
